A dock leveller is a device fixed to a loading dock that allows vehicles of different heights to load and unload from the dock. The leveller is a simple metal plate that is raised or lowered onto the back of the truck in order to bridge the gap between the truck and the dock to allow material handling equipment to be used on both truck and dock.« Back to Glossary Index
