This role sits within our consulting practice assisting clients who need to cut their operating budgets, want better or faster outcomes, require more traction in their organisation and who want to get the team, process or department to the next level. Based in Melbourne, this role requires travel approximately 25-30% of the time. You will have at your disposal the smarts and resources of the Purchasing Index team (a Comprara company) who are leaders in spend analysis and benchmarking. Your role requires you to customise and develop toolkits, templates and other documentation for clients which requires structured thinking coupled with excellent writing ability. With exceptional analytical capabilities and your understanding of the end-to-end procurement process, you turn information into tools that assist business decisions and challenge the status quo, applying innovative solutions to 'deliver more with the same or the same with less’.
You will utilise your analytical and numerical talents to analyse large volumes of client data. Ideally you have extensive experience with tools used for analysis, i.e. Tableau, Sisense plus Advanced Excel Skills. Preference will be given to those with Microsoft SQL Server (+ BI Tools) and experience with R and/ or Python Candidates must possess strong analytic techniques and capabilities and have an enquiring, client-focussed approach.
You are a well-established Data Analyst with exceptional numerical and analytical capabilities. Ideally, you have gained some experience within Strategic Procurement, and have demonstrated your capabilities working across project implementations as well as in business as usual context. You are a self-disciplined multi-tasker, who can work both independently and collaboratively. You will regularly liaise with clients to capture and clarify their information and requirements, managing the upload of data, providing insights and producing reports and presentations as relevant. them with something extra.
Comprara is the leading provider of procurement training in Australia under its brand the Academy of Procurement. This position will require the delivery of total procurement training solutions to a range of government and blue-chip organisations. All training workshop material and workbooks have already been developed. Unlike the typical classroom style of learning – the Comprara training package is practical and is theory made tangible. The day of training is packed with activities and practical stories /anecdotes. For our learners this means that they don't learn something on Friday, only to forget it by Monday! This role is suited to an experienced procurement professional who has training experience.

Working in a fun, team environment, you will drive sales from our Customer data base. You will manage a portfolio of named accounts and will drive adoption of the services. Your day will be mostly spent responding to interest gained from marketing campaigns. You will need credibility and solid communication skills to liaise with managers at customer sites. Our ideal profile is someone who has a bit of experience in business to business (B2B) sales so knows how organisations work and is familiar with organisational structures, reporting lines and approval processes. You need to have plenty of confidence to be successful and will need to be diligent in placing your calls and follow up calls.
